Eligibility for Financial Assistance
The Tom Coughlin Jay Fund’s financial assistance for household expenses is provided on a temporary basis for families who find themselves in financial difficulty as a result of their child’s cancer. All financial assistance is determined on a case-by-case basis based on the needs of the child and family.
Our focus is children and young adults, ages 0-22 years old, currently undergoing treatment or up to 6 months following treatment.
The child must be a permanent resident of one of the following:
- North Florida – Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Clay, Columbia, Duval, Flagler, Hamilton, Jefferson, Lafayette, Leon, Madison, Nassau, Putnam St. Johns, Suwannee, Taylor, Union, Volusia, or Wakulla Counties
- South Georgia – Atkinson, Bacon, Brantley, Camden, Charlton, Clinch, Coffee, Echols, Glynn, Lanier, Lowndes, McIntosh, Pierce, or Ware Counties
