Jay Fund Ambassador Michelle McGriff was named a Jaguars’ Community Champion of the Game in October 2024
Outstanding Small Business or Civic Organization Award
The Jay Fund nominated Jacksonville sports radio station 1010XL for the Outstanding Small Business or Civic Organization award, and they were named the award winner! The award recognizes their commitment to bettering the Northeast Florida community. 1010XL hosts an annual Radiothon that has raised over $2.1 million for the Jay Fund since its inception in 2008.
Judy Coughlin—Be the Light Award Winners
The Judy Coughlin—Be the Light Award is named for the matriarch of the Coughlin family—a devoted wife and mother who played a pivotal role in the founding of the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund. The award is granted by the Jay Fund annually to an individual, group or team in Northeast Florida, Southeast Georgia or the NY/NJ tri-state area who goes above and beyond to support families who have a child with cancer.

Panel Discussion at the International Society of Pediatric Oncology Conference
Tom Coughlin Jay Fund team members Mary Jane Pulzello and Sue Garbe joined Servier Pharmaceuticals to participate in a panel discussion during the International Society of Pediatric Oncology Conference in Amsterdam in October 2025. The panel highlighted the challenges that families of pediatric cancer patients face, from food insecurity to limited food access.
