How NY Giant Kevin Boothe Helped the Jay Fund

New York Giants Offensive Lineman Kevin Boothe was recently approached by his alma mater, Cornell University.  He was asked by a Junior at Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and the Chair of this years Battle of The Chefs, Marty Rauch, to judge this year’s philanthropic competition. The competition ran similarly to an “Iron Chef” style battle and requires 4-6 teams of 5 student chefs, a secret ingredient, and a panel of 3-5 guest judges. NY Giant Kevin Boothe was the first judge to commit to attend.

As we all know, there’s something to be said for being early.  The proceeds from the competition are entirely donated to charity and since the first judge to commit was Kevin Boothe, the school decided to allow him to choose the  organization to which they would make their final donation.  Mr. Boothe chose the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund Foundation.

Many thanks to Kevin Boothe and Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration.
