Be a Champion for families dealing with childhood cancer! Throughout Super Bowl week, help the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund in three ways:
#1 – GIVE. Just like Coach Coughlin will be looking for champions on the sideline during Super Bowl XLVI, the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund is looking for champions who are willing to give a one-time gift of $46 to help families dealing with childhood cancer. We’re looking for a total of 2012 champions to give by the end of the Big Game! Your $46 gift will help a child with cancer by providing their family assistance with household expenses, so they never have to choose between putting food on the table or buying their child’s medication.
#2 – POST. “Like” our Facebook page (if you haven’t already), then submit a pic of someone you love that has been touched by childhood cancer. Be a champion for them by briefly telling everyone how their story affected you. Not only will your pic and story encourage and empower others to be a champion, but you’ll automatically be eligible to win one of three Super Bowl XLVI hats signed by Tom Coughlin! Be sure to tag that pic…and tell your friends to go to our page, Like us, and vote!
#3 – SHARE. We can’t accomplish our goal and help the families who need it without you. We encourage you to spread the word – post link to us on Facebook, Twitter (let’s make #beachampion trend!), Google+, on your blog, through email, and any other way you can.
Thanks in advance for your decision to BE A CHAMPION!!
Supporting Families with Children Suffering from Cancer
The Tom Coughlin Jay Fund Foundation was created in 1996 in the honor of Jay McGillis. Jay was a very special young man who developed leukemia while a member of the football team at Boston College. Tom Coughlin was inspired by the courage, compassion and faith he and his family demonstrated during the course of his illness. Coughlin witnessed first hand the financial and emotional struggles the family suffered through and vowed to help people in the same situation if he ever had the opportunity.
The mission of the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund Foundation is to assist children with leukemia and other cancers and their families by providing emotional and financial support to help reduce the stress associated with treatment and improve their quality of life.

Now and Forever
Endowment Campaign
The Jay Fund’s Board of Directors approved the Now and Forever Endowment Campaign in 2007. We successfully raised $5 million dollars of funding to continue the Jay Fund’s mission to provide financial and emotional assistance to families in the Jacksonville community in perpetuity. This campaign yields funds, which are kept permanently invested, to generate income for grantmaking to be used to ensure that The Jay Fund can meet the direct financial and emotional needs of future Jacksonville community families affected by childhood cancer. One-hundred percent (100%) of the income from the endowment will be used to support families in the Jacksonville area. None of the funds raised from this campaign will be used for operating expenses.
