On Wednesday, December 12th, the Jay Fund partnered up with the Valerie Fund Center at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center to sponsor their annual Holiday Party. Held at the Doubletree Hotel at Newark Airport, the party allowed families to celebrate in style. A formal, ‘kid friendly’, three-course sit down meal is provided, and families are entertained by a DJ and dancing, a choir, clowns, magicians, face-painters, air-brushers, calligraphers and a visit by ole Saint Nick! At the end of the evening, each patient and his or her siblings each receive a gift bag filled with presents. Special events like this allow the patient and their family to create lasting memories together. It is a magical evening for all and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to support this amazing Holiday event!
