New York Giants Head Coach Tom Coughlin's 2009 annual "Champions for Children" Gala raised more than $680,000 for families with children battling cancer. A multitude of Giant players, including Eli Manning, Osi Umenyiora, Justin Tuck, Mathias Kiwanuka, Hakeem Nicks, Domenik Hixon, David Diehl, Rich Seubert, Chris Snee and Shaun O'Hara, were on hand to walk the red carpet, host tables, and mingle with fans at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. The event also featured a silent auction, dinner and awards ceremony, which honored Gary R. Chartrand, Executive Chairman of Acosta Sales and Marketing and Anthony Sichenzio, Managing Director of Newedge Group for their philanthropic efforts on behalf of children.
